This is cute!

Our neice Paige has been at Primary Children's Hospital for several weeks. After digging up an old tape from Jared's mission I decided to make and send one for her to listen to in the hospital. I really wanted to make something special for her so we sang, told a few jokes, I played some piano songs, and this is a video of her and her family listening to Karlie's singing at the beginning and loving it. I was so happy they got to laugh and have some fun in a not so fun place to be right now! Make sure and pause my blog music at the bottom so you can hear the video.

Snowman

Karlie LOVES to sing and one of her favorites is "Once there was a Snowman." So when it actually snowed we just had to help her make him tall, tall, tall! She was so excited to have a snowman and since then she has spent the days looking at him out her window.

I have this...and it hurts

Hydronephrosis Due to Pregnancy...
Problems with the kidneys and ureters--tubes that lead from the kidneys to the bladder--can sometimes lead to Hydronephrosis. Hydronephrosis is a blockage in the kidney that causes the flow of urine to the bladder to be obstructed (also causing kidney stones and urinary tract infections.) Pregnant women have a higher chance of this difficulty as their uterus ENLARGES. Treatments do exist for Hydronephrosis in pregnancy, however, most cases are mild and go away AFTER GIVING BIRTH.

...I hope I can make it til the 31st, wish me luck!

DisneyWorld

...and last but not least we celebrated the new year by heading to DisneyWorld with Jared's family. It was a blast...an arctic blast that is, and was quite cold. We still had tons of fun all bundled up, and there was even one day that Karlie got to wear all of her clothes that we had packed all layered at once, including her fleece PJ's. These are in totally random order...
Breakfast at the hotel, Karlie was so excited to talk to every stranger that she barely would eat

MGM Studios - Karlie couldn't stop staring at Miss PiggyAsia at Animal Kingdom, checking out the monkeys

Don't really know what to say about this..."It's tough to be a bug"
Epcot Center
Pirate Dinner Show - we had the whole back table

Honey, I shrunk the kids playground

Our Pirate - Dressed in ISU colors (we were assigned the Orange section)

"Up" Characters...love how Karlie is staring at Russell, the boy scout. Probably thinking, "Where do I know you from?"

Christmas

We were sooooooo busy during Christmas with so many parties. We had lots of fun visiting with everyone and had a couple of different parties with old friends from high school that we hadn't seen for years, so that was fun. Karlie was fun on Christmas morning and loved and played with EVERYTHING she opened for quite a while. Her favorites have been her rocking horse that Grandpa Turner made and her new doll with all the accessories from G'ma and Popee Bergeson.
I guess I don't have a picture of Karlie with her doll yet, so here is one of me instead wearing my Christmas pajamas and sporting my new apron...at the same time!
